Robinson's Battery is dedicated to the accurate portrayal of the actions and daily lives of artillerymen serving during the Civil War. Serving a cannon requires teamwork, attention to detail and ever present vigilance for safety. We are privileged to have the use of a period cannon and participate in many events each year.
If you'd like to be considered for membership, please see us at any event and/or complete the following application and send it to us. [Use your screen print button to print.]
Our membership committee will contact you. Thank you for your interest!

Battery activities and events often involve strenuous
exercise and possible exposure to heat, cold, rain, dust, smoke and rough
terrain. If you or participating family members have any medical conditions
affected by these conditions (for example: heart conditions, asthma, diabetes,
back problems, allergic reactions to insect sting/bites), be prepared to deal
medically with them.
All applicants and members must recognize that primitive
camping, reenacting, shooting firearms, including cannon and the equipment
associated with them, are inherently dangerous and involve the potential for
serious injury or death. Members are
solely responsible for their own safety.
While Robinson’s Battery has enacted rules and regulations promoting the
safe use of its property and equipment, these rules and regulations cannot
assure personal safety.
Please list the name, address and telephone number of a

Battery members assume all risks associated with using
the Battery’s property and equipment, whether the result of their own acts or
those of others, unless the result of gross negligence. As a condition of
membership, Battery members must voluntarily relinquish all claims which they
may have now or in the future against the Battery, its officers,
non-commissioned officers or members, which arise from the use of Battery

Robinson’s Battery is a voluntary private organization.
The veterans have an absolute right to enact and enforce rules governing its
membership, use of equipment and property. It is every member’s responsibility

Members, who do not comply with the Battery’s rules or do not use
Battery equipment in a safe manner, may be removed from membership by a
majority vote of the veterans.
I have read Robinson’s Battery’s Articles of
Incorporation and By-Laws, and as a member, agree to comply with them at all
events at which the Battery is present.
I attest that neither my family members nor I have been convicted of a
felony or other crime involving moral turpitude.
